About the CEO
Omari Williams is the Founder and CEO of OW Strategic Business Consultant (OWSBC), where he partners with organizations to turn complexity into clarity through operational excellence, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement. His leadership is rooted in a strong engineering foundation and shaped by a career delivering measurable, enterprise-level results.
Trained as a mechanical engineer, Omari holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Energy Management from UNC Charlotte. He has built his career across global manufacturing environments, progressing from hands-on quality and manufacturing engineering roles into senior operational leadership. His engineering journey includes impactful roles with Siemens Energy, SIS, GKN, Clarios, and Novolex, where he consistently led complex processes, large-scale projects, and cross-functional teams through transformation.
Currently, Omari serves as a Continuous Improvement Plant Manager at Novolex and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. In this role, he initiated and led the site’s first operational excellence program, strengthened process control and project management capabilities, and served as Lead Facilitator for the PEPS excellence program—earning Bronze and Silver certifications in consecutive years. His leadership has driven significant performance gains, including improving plant OEE, reducing scrap, enhancing throughput, and contributing to $4.9 million in savings initiatives. In recognition of his impact, Omari was honored with the 2025 Kaizen Institute of America Quality Excellence Award.
Across his engineering and operational career, Omari has delivered sustained results—driving multi‑million‑dollar cost reductions, overseeing CAPEX and line modernization projects, leading Kaizen events, and embedding lean frameworks such as SMED, TPM, VSM, and structured problem-solving into daily operations. His success is defined not only by financial outcomes, but by his ability to build alignment, eliminate silos, and develop teams capable of sustaining improvement.
Through OWSBC, Omari extends this engineering discipline beyond the plant floor. He works closely with leaders to design scalable systems, strengthen execution, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. His approach emphasizes strong partnerships, clear metrics, and solutions tailored to each organization’s strategic goals.
